New site allows fans to support her volleyball career
Chicago, IL, October 6, 2022 – Orland Park resident and University of Illinois volleyball setter Bianca May has jumped into the NIL space by officially signing a ‘name, image, likeness’ (NIL) deal with NextName. NextName offers fans the opportunity to support her through the sale of her personal digital collectibles, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFT). The collectibles are robust media files with images, music, school logo, and playing statistics. May directly receives the majority of proceeds from the sale of her digital collectibles.

Bianca May – NextName
Bianca is from Orland Park, IL and graduated from Carl Sandburg High School where she helped lead her team to an IHSA 4A Sectional Championship (Elite 8) with 374 assists, 163 digs, and 36 service aces during her sophomore year in 2019. She was a 2022 Under Armour All-American Selection Camp nominee and was a four-time AVCA Phenom List (2018-2021) athlete. In addition, she was on the 2022 PrepDig Watch list and received PrepVolleyball.com Soph 79 Special Mention.
With Adversity Volleyball Club, she Triple Qualified for USAV Nationals in 17 Open Division with her Adversity 17 Adidas team, while also helping Adversity to the 17 Open President’s Day Classic Championship, a runner-up finish at the Sunshine Qualifier
Open Division and a bronze medal at the USAV Girl’s Junior National Championships Open
